Void

--

Eyes empty, face expressionless
As he looks at one in misery.
Firm and untrembling, coldly impassive
As he hears one scream in agony.

Woe not to one who is in sorrow but to one who is insensible to it.
Devoid of love, devoid of life, he is the most miserable of them all.

Severed from all kinds of relations, his existence is grounded in nothing.
Floating solitarily in nothingness, he relates only unto himself, reflecting only upon himself,
alone in an infinite darkness, continually recurring unto eternity — where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
